Fall Festivals In & Around Denver


Fall in Colorado is not only beautiful but fun too. Here is a list of festivals to fill your fall calendar. Have fun!

Things to do this weekend:

Sunnyside Music Festival–great time for kids and adults. Enjoy the music and laid back atmosphere that NW Denver has to offer. Shakedown Street is headlining this year. http://www.sunnysidemusicfest.org/ 9/7/13 from 11am to 6pm Chaffee Park – 4400 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211

Arvada Harvest Festival Parade: 9/6/13-9/8/13
For a full schedule check out their website but there are events on Friday from 5-10 PM, Saturday 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Celtic Harvest Festival

Corn Mazes and Pumpkin Patches:

Berry Patch Farms--pick your own or shop in their farm store. Don’t miss their Harfest Festivals on the weekends in Oct.–great place to get a pumpkin for your punkin! Watch their website for updates on produce available and times for the Harvest Festival. www.berrypatchfarms.com

Cottonwood Farm, Boulder–tackle straw bale and corn mazes, take a wagon ride, decorate a gourd and pick a perfect pumpkin. 9/21-10/31, 10 AM — 6 PM everyday. http://www.cottonwoodfarms.com/

Denver Botanic Garden at Chatfield, Littleton–The Gardens’ massive corn maze twists and turns across 8 acres, with a mini-maze for smaller kids. 9/13-10/27–check website for hours. http://www.botanicgardens.org/corn-maze
